During orientation, I thought a group trip to Big Sur, California was in order. Friends were invited, we met at my house, then carpooled about an hour down the coast. Driving down scenic Highway One, we stopped at a beautiful bridge before arriving at our destination.
We took a hike up a hill to see a small waterfall, and I was surprised to learn that there were multiple state parks in the Big Sur area. The hike was delightful, and then afterwards we drove down to see the famous waterfall that empties onto a beach right on the Pacific Ocean. It was a great day to meet new friends!
